A miter saw is a vital part of cutting face frame components when building cabinets. A simple miter saw will do. It does not need to be a large fancy saw.

A small table saw will allow you to make repetitive cuts quickly. This table saw can cut up to 24.5" wide. This size will allow you to process the parts needed for cabinet boxes.

A simple nail gun will help with assembling box parts and putting face frame on cabinets

A Kreg Jig is very helpful to assemble face frame parts. Face frames are the fronts of cabinets.

An orbital sander should be your first sander. You can sand at a variety of different grits making it very versitile.
